Achievers’ Day
Achievers’ day was celebrated on July 17, 2024 in our school to felicitate students and teachers from MVM Group of Schools for their exemplary achievements in the Board exams held in March 2024. Shri Ajay Prakash Shrivastavaji, Chairman, MVM Group of Schools blessed the students for their phenomenal results and congratulated the teachers for producing wonderful results.
Kamarajar Birthday Celebration
To commemorate Kamarajar’s Birthday on 15th July 2024 various competitions like oratorical, Poetry recitation were conducted from classes I to X. Dr. Balaraman Asst. Professor in Tamil SRM Science and Humanities presided over the function and the students actively participated in an interactive session.
CAREER COUNSELLING
Career Counselling Sessions are organized periodically to counsel and guide students to equip themselves to face future challenges and make proper decisions about their higher studies.
AWARENESS PROGRAM ON SELF HYGIENE
Adolescents Education program on self-hygiene in collaboration with PLUSH was conducted in Maharishi Vidya Mandir for the students of classes IX- XII. Dr. Divya Arun, Dr. Chitra and Dr. Dev Krishna Bharathi provided guidance in maintaining personal hygiene and also answered the questions and clarified the doubts of the students during the interactive session.
PTA Meeting
A PTA Meeting was held on 12th February, 2024. The PTA meeting served as a platform to discuss important matters related to the school and students’ education. The meeting encouraged open communication, the school management provided assurance in resolving the concerns of the parents.
INVESTITURE CEREMONY
Students’ Council Elections for the year 2024-2025 was held on Friday, 14th June, 2024 in our school premises. A free and fair election, in online mode, was conducted wherein the students of class 12 voted for the posts, SPL Boy and SPL Girl. After the counting process the names of the elected representatives were announced.
CBSE Workshop - Teachers’ Training Programme
In tune with, National Education Policy 2020, our school teachers attend training programmes conducted by CBSE and its agencies from time to time. On 17 Feb 2024 our school teachers attended a capacity building programme on “Happy Classroom” conducted by Mr. Sankara Narayanan and Ms. Shoba Raman.
On 16th of June teachers attended Capacity building program(CBSE) on Stress Management. Handouts were given and various activities were conducted to address the causes of stress and how to eliminate them.
Maharishi Mahesh Yogi’s Birthday Celebration
On 12th January 2024, our school celebrated 107th Birth anniversary of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. The day marked with Rudrabhishekam, that was performed by nine Vedic pundits. 11 Teachers of our school participated in World Peace Assembly on Meditation and Yogic Flying in Hyderabad from 29/12/2023 to 12/01/2024.
