Hindi Diwas Celebrations
The staff and students of Maharishi Vidya Mandir senior secondary school celebrated Hindi Diwas on 30th August, 2025, in the school as a mark of acknowledgement of Hindi as the official language. The chief guest of the day Shri P.Subramaniam, Principal, SKPD, Choolai, inaugurated the Hindi Diwas exhibition. Following the inauguration, the dignitaries visited the various exhibition stalls. The primary students displayed an impressive collection of creative works. The exhibits included: Charts based on grammar lessons. Story telling models. Displays on transport, seasons, and festivals. Best-out-of-waste models. Riddles and puzzles. Exhibits on musical instruments. A cultural model showcasing Tamil Nadu. The students of middle school presented a Grammar Wheel Presentation and grammar charts, a puppet show titled Three Wishes, a skit on Padmaavat, puzzle activities and literary displays that emphasized the wealth of Hindi literature. The senior students showcased advanced and thought-provoking presentations: Kabir ke Dohe presented with interpretation. Models on the significance of Hindi in banks and post offices. Meera ke Pad explained with depth and devotion. A skit on the use of Hindi in railways. A Premchand Wall Magazine and story-based models. Sabdakosh ek Parichay- arrangement of words in Hindi Dictionary was depicted by Stds.XI & VIII students. The students also received prizes and certificates for the efforts that they have taken to make the exhibition a grand success.











GRAND ART & CRAFT GALLERY
The Art Department of Maharishi Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, Chetpet, organized a spectacular art and craft exhibition on September 1st in the school premises. The event was inaugurated by renowned illustrator and cartoonist, Mr. Saai Nath from The Hindu. The exhibition featured 1100 diverse art forms created by students from 1st to 12th grade, showcasing various mediums such as pencil shading, poster colors, and oil pastel, fabric colours, charcoal pencil, wax crayons, oil colour on canvas and paper. The exhibits included working models, doodle arts, portraits, sceneries, cartoons, folk arts and depictions of places of worship, water resources, architectural marvels, and a miniature model of MVM School Chetpet. The craft display included embroidery, clay modeling, woollen work, musical instruments with card board, yoga postures with strings, paper flowers and mirror work. The displays demonstrated exceptional creativity and skill, leaving visitors in awe of the students’ talent. The entire team of Art Department was congratulated by the management for the fabulous guidance to bring out the best from the students. The visitors were mesmerised by the amazing Art and Craft exhibits that were simply exquisite and exclusive. The exhibition will be open to visitors until September 3rd, offering a chance to experience the artistic talents of MVM students. The MVM Art Gallery exhibition is a testament to the school’s commitment to fostering creativity and artistic expression among its students. The event showcased the students’ talents and provided a platform for them to shine.









Career Forum at MVM
A Career Forum 2025- 1 st edition “ IDENTIFYING YOUR NEXT STEP” was organized on 19/07/2025 (Saturday) at Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Chetpet, Chennai,
with an objective of providing students with guidance and awareness about various
career options and educational opportunities. The event was attended by students of classes X, XI & XII, faculty members, and invited Subject Matter Experts from diverse fields. The primary goal of the Career Forum was to help students understand different career paths and offer insights into industry expectations and required skills.
Experts from fields such as HR (Soft skills ) Engineering, Commerce, Medicine, Law,
Arts and Civil Services shared their insights about employer’s expectations,
qualifications required, and job prospects. Notable speakers included: Ms R
Aishwarya (HR), Mr C S Loganathan, (Founder of Truecept Academy) , Prof. Dr
Balamurugan Balusamy (Dean Academics, SNU Delhi). Mr Ramasamy
Meyyappan(Advocate, High Court Chennai) ,Dr Archana Prasad (Principal, M O P
Vaishnav College for Girls), Dr V N Alagavenkatesan( Chief of General Medicine,
GRH Madurai), Col.Ramalingam (Artillery Officer, The Indian Army) The students actively participated in Q&A sessions, Resource persons addressed every
question and discussed the impact of technology, entrepreneurship, and sustainability on future careers. The Career Forum was a great success, bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world opportunities. It encouraged students to think proactively about their futures and gave them the tools to begin their journey with clarity and confidence.










Achievers’ Day celebrations at MVM
Maharishi Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, Chetpet, Chennai, hosted Achievers’ Day on 4th July 2025, the function witnessed the honouring and felicitation of students for their meritorious performance in the Standard X and XII Board Examination, 2025. The function was presided over by Shri Ajay Prakash Shrivastava, Chairman , MVM Group of schools. The other dignitaries present included the Core Committee members, Principals, Correspondents of MVM group of schools. As many as 500 toppers, subject toppers from MVM Group of schools across Tamil Nadu were honoured with cash awards, certificates and mementos. Besides, subject teachers who produced excellent results too were felicitated. Shri Ajay Prakash Shrivastava, in his keynote address lauded the efforts put forth by the students in the board examinations and thanked the parents and teachers for being the guiding light and motivation behind their success. Subject teachers were encouraged to produce results of par excellence.
